The new Point of Interest (POI) service offers the capability to search for nearby points of interest for any location on earth. You can use this service to quickly find cities, lakes, and public buildings by supplying longitude and latitude coordinates and a radius in meters.
For example, you can locate all the hotels within 300 meters of Madison Square Garden in New York City by sending the request /search?lat=40.75066&long=-73.99347&radius=300.
